Skis Cars Anywhere
Ski resorts SEATTLE (I had to take the subject of at least 20 characters long, so I added this extra bullzh?

I'm going to Seattle in February and I would like to know if there is snow out there and where to go skiing that is close enough to make a day trip of it? we have a car rental anywhere with say 2 or 3 hour trip?

The closest is the Summit at Snoqualmie. It is an hour away and the ski conditions are OK. Much of the area and its right along the road. You tend to get heavy snow classic west coast. More than two hours away by car, and greater elevation of Crystal Mountain. Lots of varied terrain and light snow. It can be very crowded on weekends, but lots of fun. Are already open for Season 2009-10. The last option is to spend Stevens. I always like "El Paso", because it has a relatively low rear use thats fun to explore. It is an ideal for intermediate skiers. About 2 to 2 / 12 hours each way to Seattle. Beyond that if you really want to achieve, you can go to Mount Baker – have snow murderer, who is open now, but is 3 hours drive each way from downtown Seattle. Beware: the unit until it can be very scary without 4-wheel drive, and occasionally string / 4 wheel drive is required on the mountain. Baker Road.
