What is the best way to handle the whole Christmas / Santa Claus thing?
I really love teaching my son (22 1 / 2 months) to Santa Claus is only a symbol of Christmas instead of make believe is real. What is the best way to do this?
I feel sad that you do not want that her son "believed in Santa. In our house, we know that Christmas is the birth of Jesus, but there is something magical about seeing his young son "believe" Santa. As children got older, and the other children to tell you that there was no such thing, I always tell them that the day I stop believing in Santa Claus, is the day stop receiving gifts from Santa, but as long as you believe in Santa Claus, and the friendliness and warmth and conviviality that is, then continue to receive gifts Santa. Santa has always been more of the magical feeling of Christmas in our house.
